I am a part of the FuMan Skeeto eTeam, so I knew about 2 weeks ahead of time that Chris was going to be doing an autograph signing in San Diego. I had tickets to their Pop Odyssey show that was on July 16th, 2001 in San Diego, and his signing was on the 15th, so I of course had to go down a day early. When I got to the Nordstroms where the signing would be held, I was told that only 500 wristbands were being given out, and those were the only people who would get to meet him. So then I had to run all over the store trying to find the people with the wristbands. One lady told me that they were all gone, then another said they werent, so I was just hoping and preying that I would get one. I finally found the guys who had the bands, and I ended up with #424 out of 500, so I felt pretty lucky. The signing was supposed to start at 4:30, but Chris' plane was delayed, and I ended up not getting inside until about 7:30. Once I was inside the building and could see him, I was a complete mess. I was crying and shaking, and I could hardly stand up straight. By the time I got to where I was the next person, I had semi-calmed down, and got myself to where I could at least talk. Chris was very sweet! He wasnt supposed to give hugs, and was only supposed to sign one thing, but he signed two things of mine, and gave me a hug. Luckily my friend who was right in front of me had my camera, and got a pic of me and him hugging. I was in so much shock driving back to the hotel afterwards. I couldnt stop staring at my autographs, and I cried whenever I thought about it! lol
