So I went to the Frankie Muniz charity basketball game that Chris was at yesterday... here is my review of the times with him!
My mom and I got to the place really early and it was raining so I wanted to stay in the car and I decided to go to sleep for a bit to pass time. Then when I woke up my mom started bugging me by going, “Look, there’s Chris,” every five seconds. A few more cars started to pull into the parking lot, and one of them was this silver, SUV of some sort with no license plate. My mom was like, “Hey, the driver of that car looked like Chris.” I of course think that he is just being a nerd again. It had stopped raining so I decided to open up the door to get some more air, and who walks by? CHRIS! He parked about 2 parking spots down from my mom’s car, and he had a bodyguard and that Joe (last name stars with an M) guy that is always on tour with NSYNC. SO anyway, Chris walks by and my mom and I are freaking out… she is telling me to go up to him, but of course I am too big of a chicken. So I shut the door and he kinda just looked at me through the windshield. I waited for him to be gone, and I got out of the car and took some pictures of his car.
I had my camera and video camera in there with me, and it was exciting to know that I would get Chris on tape for once! The game started about 15 minutes after we got in, and they introduced all of the players. While they were warming up, Chris was right in front of our section, and I had the Rolling Stone with him on the cover. We called his name and I held it up, and he waved to us. My mom was filming when this happened, so she got it all on tape! Nothing too special happened during the game, and it was afterwards that the real fun began.
We went upstairs to get some food, and there were a bunch of celebs up there to mingle with. I talked to a few people, and then my friends and I went to the back of the room and ate. Next we decided to head back towards the front of the room to see who we could find… and we ran into Chris! He was getting pretty mobbed, but we stood back and waited for our turn. He finally turned to me, and I handed him my Rolling Stone to sign. He was all, “Hey, I saw you out there,” and gave a huge smile. It was cute. Then I asked for a pic with him, and he said of course. I stood next to him, and he put his arm around me so I did the same, then I put my head on his shoulder. lol Couldn’t believe I was brave enough to do that! Then my friends got their pictures with him, and while he was still right there we all started to scream and jump around. It was funny.
After this it was time to head back downstairs to see a new girl group perform. I ended up walking right behind Chris, and video taped him on the way down! lol He left right then, and it was sad, but at least I finally got my pic with him.
