Chance: Hey it's Chance from Backstage, it's, ah, out in the Coliseum in Ames, hangin' out with, ah, Chris from *NSYNC. How ya doin', man?

Chris: What up? What up, dope?

Chance: I'll tell you what's up. I asked a lot of people, they said, y'know, Greg, I...

Chris: Uh-oh...

Chance: [laughs] Yeah, Exactly. I asked, basically, listeners of KISS 107 FM to ask you questions, so I had a bunch of people e-mail us and things like that. Um, before we dive into this, last night, ah, we played a little pool, huh?

Chris: Yeah, we kicked some butt.

Chance: You know, I tell you what, I was a very good...

Chris: We should have took... We should have played for money, and took their money.

Chance: [laughs] I don't know, gambling's illegal, though, isn't it?

Chris: Nuh... Of course, it is, that's why we weren't gonna do it, that's why we *didn't* do it.

Chance: Exactly.

Chris: That's why we just played them for... y'know... respect.

Chance: You've got a... you've got a mean bank shot, how long you been doin' that?

Chris: D'you like that? That was... I don't know, I just closed my eyes and hoped it went in.

Chance: Yeah? Well, let's dive into some of these questions that the fans... ah... Next video? What do you think that'll be, and when it'll it be out?

Chris: Um, not sure yet, because, y'know, as of right now, we're focusing on the tour, we've got about a month, a little over a month left of the tour, and then, uh, after that we're gonna go back into the studio and start workin' on the next album so, y'know we might not have any more releases off this album, we might wait 'til the next album.

Chance: Okay. Um, you know you guys have spent some time in, ah, Des Moines so far. What do you think of Iowa so far, the people in Iowa, is everyone pretty nice?

Chris: Yeah, everybody's been really cool, you know, we've had a good time. Everybody was worried before we got here, 'cuz they were, like, you know, we're goin' to Iowa and nobody knows, like, a lot of clubs or a lot of what to do in Iowa. But I said, you know, watch out, I'm tellin' you, you know, everybody there likes to have a good time, just like everybody else. So we got here, y'know, we found the right places to go, and we had a great time.

Chance: You know, you did a little, ah... [laughs] ...you did a little, ah... you had some go cart action in there, is that true?

Chris: Yeah, we raced go carts yesterday after... I guess it was yesterday evenin'. And, we got real competitive.

Chance: Yeah, I was talking to Justin a little bit, and, ah... and he said that uh, that he won the race, is that true?

Chris: Oh, lemme just tell you, first of all, to get... to get all this stuff straight, they cheated. They took me... it was me and JC against a bunch of other, you know, losers, we don't know who the other guys are, but, our team was ahead by, like, 2 laps, and they took 3 laps away from us. I ran out... I took... put my helmet on and ran out in the melee, and jumped one of the carts, tried to rip Joe's helmet off, my foot got hit, and it was just... It was just a free for all, it was, it was not fair. We got 3 laps taken away for that, and we shoulda won.

Chance: [laughs]

Chris: We, we were fastest, me and JC are the fastest go cart racers ever!

Chance: I tell you what, ah, I can see by the shoe, yeah, he's got some black marks on the shoe.

Chris: That is a skid mark from a go cart on my shoe. I'm not kiddin'. I had to check my toe for blood, 'cuz I thought I broke my toe.

Chance: Let's get back, more of the music side of things. Ah, you ever be interested in maybe doing some producing, ah, for acts or things like that?

Because, I mean, it's real important, to us, you know, we were lucky enough, somebody put their foot in the door for us, you know, once we got in, you know, of course we took over and said, you know, we'll control our own destinies now. I think every act out there just needs somebody to put that foot in the door for 'em. And that's what we're all tryin' to do, now, we're tryin'a, you know, help out and say look, we were blessed enough and lucky enough, you know, to make this our career, we wanna do it for other talented people that wanna be in the business.

Chance: You know, and that's, that's one of the questions I was gonna ask you but you just covered it right there, so if you wanna get a start, you can, ah, hit that web site. Last thing, you've got, ah, some fashion stuff goin' on, you wanna... talk to us about that at all?

Chris: Yeah, I been doin' a little clothin' line, um, it's, it's doing great, ah, we've been in, like, Nordstrom's and Bloomingdale's and a lot of the big retailers. Ah, it's all women's right now, we're just startin' a men's line we're launching it in Australia... in, ah, two months, so I gotta go to Australia and launch the big men's line, then it will come over here. 'Cuz I get, we're, we're... we test it out first, like, when we started the girl's line, we started with just t-shirts, saw how everybody liked them, and then it built up into an actual, y'know, now we have a *line*, of like, a spring line, a summer line, a fall line. And that's what we want to start with the guys, too.

Chance: Yeah, you're gonna possibly have, ah... you... can we have a web site for that, for that also?
