October 1, 2010

In case you missed my earlier tweet on twitter (and yes, I'm just copying and pasting cause I'm lazy. =) )

Thank you to everyone who has donated through the @CKFHelps widget on our site. We've helped raise over $1000! Remember that October kicks off Chris month and fundraising/donation month so whether you've donated in the past or not, feel free to stop by the site and donate. Every little bit helps!

We're gearing up for Chris month around here. 31 days of.... Chris stuff? lol It's nothing spectacular, just something quite simple once a day. So get ready come October 1st! I'm sure at least some of it will make you laugh! =)

The Medicus Foundation is donating $300 through our CKF donation widget over on the left and is challenging anyone to match it or go higher. Are YOU up for the challenge or know anyone that is (celebrities included!)? Send them our way to donate! The autographed pictures are still up for grabs! (no, celebrities don't get those, unless maybe you're Ellen. lol!)

If you would kindly scroll down and look to your left you will see a freshly new added CKF Donation Widget. So I want everyone to go and donate through this widget and help help the Chris Kirkpatrick Foundation! For every $5 you donate, your name will be put into the running to win an autographed Chris Kirkpatrick photos. Just forward your paypal receipt(s) to robin @ kirkpatrick or stephanie @ . We have two to give away so go! Donate now! It doesn't matter if it's $5 or $100, every little bit helps!

I'm summoning the Nigels Army: my daughter, Ginger, is in the running to win $1000 from Parents Magazine. All we need to do to win is for her picture to get the most votes. So, I'm asking all my CK friends to go and vote for her.

All you have to do is click the link, go to the bottom of the picture and click "vote for me". Then, a box will pop up with an ad and you have to enter the quoted text in the ad (it's only like 10 seconds long, and it's for authentication purposes). You don't have to sign up for anything or subscribe... please please please :) I appreciate you all in advance :) VOTE HERE

And, by the way, the total we raised for the CKF is $175!!!! Way to go everyone who bid on things. And I have two more pictures left I'm trying to figure out what to do with at this point. So there will be more to come. Thanks!!!!

Looks like the Mask Care Aid bash is now the 30th, not the 29th as the flier stated. Melinda stated on twitter that it is now the 30th so everyone save that date!
